Simple Invoice

Terms

By creating an account you agree to these terms. They are written to be read.

What Simple Invoice is

Simple Invoice helps freelancers keep track of projects and time, make and send invoices, and record payments. It is not accounting or tax-filing software, and the invoices it makes are not official receipts. You are responsible for the invoices you send and for meeting your own tax and registration obligations.

Early access

Simple Invoice is free while it is in early access. We are still improving it, so features may change. If we ever introduce paid plans, we will tell you well before they apply to you, and you will not be charged without agreeing to it first.

Your account

Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. Give us an email address you check, because that is where account messages go.

Your records are yours

Everything you put into Simple Invoice stays yours. We use it only to run the app for you, as described on the privacy page. You can download your records at any time.

Fair use

Please do not use Simple Invoice to send spam, to deceive anyone, to invoice for anything illegal, or to try to get into other people's accounts. We may suspend an account that does.

If something goes wrong

We work hard to keep Simple Invoice running and your records safe, but we cannot promise it will never be unavailable or never have a mistake in it. Please check invoices before you send them. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for losses that come from using the app, such as a missed or late payment.

Closing your account

You can stop using Simple Invoice whenever you like and ask us to close your account. We may close accounts that break these terms, and will tell you why.

Changes

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will email you before the change takes effect. These terms are governed by the laws of the Philippines.
